therealtrash: Socorro from ghosttundra's webseries (Imigrantes Road) (Socorro)
I was talking to one of my aunts today; she really enjoys talking about dreams and spiritual things. I was talking to her about my recurring dreams (we've talked about our dreams many times, but we always come back to this topic in our conversations). She said she's also had recurring dreams about a street, one that had a nostalgic feeling, like she was already there. And she said she also dreamed about a house with an old lady in it. It wasn't a windowless house, but that's an interesting coincidence. Anyway, this conversation brought back a lot of memories, and I thought I should write down some of the dreams I talked about with her here, before they fade from my memory. (I'll only talk about MY dreams because I'm not sure my aunt would like hers to be on the internet.)

Black Cat House: When I dream about animals, it's usually not something weird or bizarre, but I've had two particularly weird dreams with a black cat. (Just to clarify, I love black cats; I think it's just stupid people who think they bring bad luck or some bullshit like that.) In one of them, I was down the street from my house, but there was a new house there, a vintage-looking house. It was huge, had purple wallpaper, and a metal gate. And in the wall next the gate there was a small hole, and I saw a small, thin black cat coming in. I immediately, for some reason, followed the cat, like Alice when she follows the rabbit before entering Wonderland, but I'm not sure if it was the cat that caught my attention, I think it was more the strange unsettling atmosphere of that house, which was kinda familiar, but not enough to bring back any memories. So I got curious and went through the hole (I don't know how). When I entered the hole, I went straight into the house, it was as if the yard had disappeared, idk. The house was also covered in purple wallpaper inside. I don't remember that part of the dream very well, but it's more because a lot of things happened, like a stimulus bomb. Anyway, the floor was wooden, there was old dark brown furniture that seemed to be very, very heavy, and also a weird thing, most of the things in this house were crooked. The carpet was crooked, the table was crooked, etc. I saw a woman, she was very tall and was wearing a purple dress (more like wine, I guess). She told me many things I didn't understand. There were also some strange creatures whose appearance I can't exactly describe. I talked to some individuals in this house (yes, individuals, not people) and went to another room because I was afraid of that woman. That's when I noticed another hole in the wall and entered it, intending to leave the house, but the hole led me to another room that seemed like a completely new and different place. It seemed to be a school, and there was a crowd of people milling about everywhere; I couldn't even walk through so many people. And my ears were almost exploding from the loud noise. I just ran anywhere, because I was even more scared than before. I had the feeling someone was following me as I ran, but it might have just been my imagination. I saw the black cat again in the crowd, I guess. Anyway, I found another hole that sent me to a place smaller than the other ones. The ceiling was crooked, as if it were falling apart, and this made the atmosphere suffocating and claustrophobic. I don't remember anything about that part of the dream, but I know I saw something pretty weird that gave me the creeps. And somehow I made it back to the first room of the house. The woman looked at me strangely and invited me to eat with her. I sat at the table with her and the other creatures, things, individuals... Idk! But we weren't eating anything, just staring at the table. Until I decided I'd had enough of weirdness and fled that place. The woman tried to follow me, but when I got to the yard, she gave up. And I saw the cat again; it came out through the hole, just like it did when it came in. I tried too, but I couldn't get through the hole anymore. So I jumped the gate and just saw the cat turning the corner before it disappeared and I woke up (or had another dream, I don't know, I don't remember lol).

TW‼️:Look, next ones aren't very friendly, they're pretty disturbing... just for you know.

The dead Black Cat and the Elephant: This dream was very brief, but disturbing enough to make me feel really bad. I woke up in a bed in a small space, like a small apartment room. I was so dazed and dizzy, I couldn't process what the fuck was happening. Suddenly, a man appeared; I couldn't move and was terrified as shit. I asked what was happening, and he said a few things I no longer remember, but it was pretty clear: I had been kidnapped. I panicked, and he brought me a glass of water with something strange inside. And when he wasn't looking, I threw the glass at him. And that was one of the most disturbing moments I've ever experienced in a dream. The man was gone, and there was only a bloody black cat on the floor; it appeared to be dead. Not sure if he turned into the cat or if the cat just appeared out of nowhere, but I was terrified. I walked over to the cat, shaking and feeling like a monster. I kept asking why this had happened and where the man had gone. Until another man appeared, just seeing me out of bed, the cat lying there, with broken glass on the floor. I started running down a dark hallway, even though I was dizzy and almost falling. The more I ran, the darker the hallway became, until I entered a completely different dream, in a completely different context. I was in a tunnel, covered in darkness and with water on the floor. There were other people with me; we were trapped. There was a round gate at the end of the tunnel, and we were trying to escape through it. I was so confused. Suddenly, I heard a guy saying he would look for an exit on the other side of the tunnel. That's when I heard someone say, "Don't go there, the elephant will catch you!!" But he went anyway, and we heard heavy footsteps coming toward us. A huge elephant, whose skeleton and organs were visible, was eating the guy. Everyone got desperate and tried to break the gate, but the elephant caught em all, including me. And that was the time I was eaten by an elephant.

The Maze of Gates: For our last story, we have the gate theme recurring again, lol. (Idk why I dream about so many gates). Anyway, in this dream, I was walking home from school with two friends (no, they're not my friends in real life, they were my friends in the dream), and as we walked home, the streets started to get increasingly meaningless. We were talking about how deserted the streets were that day, and suddenly we came across a huge wall, from which we could only see a glimpse of the leaves of a tree behind it. We tried to jump over it, despite one of my friends from the dream warning us not to go there because once you enter that place, you can't go back. When we finally jumped, the shit started. The entire street behind us disappeared, the walls turned so much higher than before, we couldn't even see where they ended. We were in a limited space (yes, the claustrophobia theme repeating itself again, lol), with a huge, leafy tree covering most of the place in shadow. And in front of us, one of those gates with no opening to see behind it, and it was about the size of the tree. Desperate, we sat on the ground for a while and discussed how to get out of there. We mentioned something someone had told us, as if in this dream we all already had this memory in our heads, it was about the gate behind the big gate. When you enter there, you get lost in mazes and at some point you'll be caught by some entity whose name I don't remember, so I'll call it: "John." So there was nothing we could do; we were trapped in a dead end. If we stayed where the tree was, we'd stay there until we died, and if we entered the maze of gates, we'd die too. So, since we couldn't even return to the street we'd come from, we decided, afraid, to risk finding a exit from that place. We jumped over the big gate with great effort and entered a place larger than the claustrophobic one we were with the tree, but there was nothing. Just grass and a small gate with openings through which we could see a glimpse of the maze corridors behind it. The gate was unlocked; we entered, and there were many narrow corridors that were dark, but we could still see something, and gates. Some gates were unlocked, and others not. So, basically, it was just running through corridors, finding gates, trying to get through them, praying John wouldn't catch us, and repeating the same thing over and over. At some point, my friends and I got separated, and I got even more scared. I was remembering moments ago when we hadn't jumped over that wall, feeling stupid. Until I found one of my friends behind one of the gates. I tried to open the gate, but it was locked. He said he was tired and couldn't find our other friend either. We talked about our future there, like, "How long do you think we'll survive here?" And I was just, "Idk man, maybe a few more minutes if we're lucky." So he said he'd try to come to me, but a few moments later, I couldn't see or hear him anymore. And I had to accept that I was now alone. As I walked, the corridor got longer, and fewer gates appeared. That's when I finally saw the exit. A gate that I could see through the openings and see the street on the other side. But when I tried to open it, it was locked. And I only managed to see it for a second before waking up, a shillhoutte that I assume was that John. I don't remember his face, his clothes, nothing. I only remember my despair the moment I saw that the gate was locked and all my efforts were useless. lol.

Well, these were the dreams I was talking about with my aunt. I don't think I miss some of them... I've talked more about my dreams with her in other conversations, but if I were to write them all down, I'd spend hours and hours just writing, haha. I was thinking about trying lucid dreaming, like, I have lucid dreams sometimes, but I want to have lucid dreams whenever I want. And control which scenario I want to dream about, so I can explore the lake street, which I mentioned in one of my entries. But I'm a little afraid of thinking about something scary when I'm trying to choose a scenario and couldn't get out of it, lol. So... better not.

My aunt said she thinks the black cat might be my guardian or something like that, but I don't know... I've mentioned that I love spirituality, but I can't quite believe in it. But who knows, cats are such mysterious creatures.
